Fondant plunger cutters are ideal for use with a range of edible and non edible materials including sugar paste, modelling and flower paste, marzipan and craft clays. The plunger cutters are typically embossed with finer detail which will be transferred onto your fondant. This allows you to make intricately detailed fondant decorations which can then be further decorated with edible paints, glitters and powders.
- Roll out the paste on a non stick surface or use cornflour / icing sugar for dusting.
- Press down on the paste using your plunger cutter and gently rub on the surface to cut the shape.
- Press down on the plunger while the cutter is still on the table to emboss the pattern onto the cutting.
- Remove the cutter from the table and press the plunger again to release the cutting from the cutter.
